To design a bespoke themed Christmas party that could be enjoyed by over 300 guests at a worldwide market insights company.
The party was to be held in the beautiful ballroom of the impressive Grand Connaught Rooms in the very heart of Central London.
After talking through some ideas – the theme was agreed upon as 1920s. The next phase was deciding how we could bring this to life, from scratch. With the Grand Connaught Rooms as our chosen venue, there was already a great foundation for an extravagant celebration. The room was adorned with black lyrca chair and table covers and the tables were decorated with wonderful feather towers that complimented the theme perfectly. Additionally, a large screen was assembled opposite the DJ,which played clips from Bugsy Malone and bespoke 1920s visuals throughout the evening, created especially for the party
As guests entered the reception area they were received by a jazz trio, a gangster themed human statue and two girls clothed in Charleston flapper girl costumes, which set the scene for the evening from the very moment that people arrived.
Once the guests had finished their traditional Christmas meal, they were treated to a wonderful Charleston dance routine created by Uptown Dance Choreographer, Katrina. Afterward, everyone was invited to join the dancefloor and dance into the night. The party went on, sliding into 2.00am, and everyone had an incredible time.
