The Brief
Our client has worked with Uptown Events for many years, previously enjoying some of the finest historical and iconic locations across the capital. This time, they were looking for something more interactive, and provided only a requirement for a large celebration – 400 guests in total.

We didn’t stand around!
Knowing their style and requirements well, we decided to hire an award winning attraction for this Christmas party, the popular waxwork exhibition at Madame Tussauds.
The venue is so incredibly unique, and our team planned the evening’s entertainment around the usual tourist itinerary. Our guests started the evening on the “Spirit of London” ride, hopping into a famous black cab, and travelling through the exhibit’s best models on London to witness the historical and cultural events that shaped London into becoming one of the greatest cities in the world.
Our team planned a cocktails and canapes “red carpet walk”, with guests joining the wax figure celebrities for memorable photos and plenty of laughter.
Following the drinks reception, our guests made their way through the “Film Zone”, which included an incredible Kong model, amongst others. They then arrived at the main party room, surrounded by Royals, sports heroes, musicians and historical politicians all in stunning wax work.
After collecting plenty of snaps, the evening concluded with a DJ and plenty of dancing. Our client was absolutely thrilled with the event and everyone had an exceptional festive celebration!
