Our team has long-standing relationships with a large number of luxury venues across central London, but for this event, we narrowed our search specifically to restaurants with panoramic views and world-renowned chefs.

A restaurant that stood out very clearly from the start was level 33 of The Shard, Hutong. Serving up some of the most exquisite Northern Chinese delicacies, Hutong is an award-winning restaurant with the perfect layout for our client’s requirements. Built-in a U-shape, our guests were given different a different vista as they transitioned from dining to dancing, making it a truly stunning venue for the occasion.

We organised a champagne and canape welcome to begin with in the restaurant’s bar and lounge. After enjoying some live music, the party were escorted through to the dining area, with tables of 8-10 guests for a more intimate celebration. For 2 hours, they were served sumptuous dishes, including a carved duck, prepared at each table.

After the dinner, guests were shown back through to the bar and lounge area, which during the dinner had been transformed into a cosy nightclub, complete with DJ, cocktail bar, velvet cushions, high tables and bar stools. Before the party got underway, we had organised some light entertainment in keeping with the venue – a Chinese calligrapher, a mind reader and a fortune teller.
