The Brief
When the Uptown Events team met with our client, they were keen to throw a Winter Wonderland themed evening for Christmas with their top achievers. It was imperative to our client that the theme transcended all aspects of the event, including the entertainment.
Involvement
How did we deliver on the night?
After meeting with our client, we were on the lookout for an exceptional venue space for our frosty festive function.
Luxury, elegant event? It simply had to be The Landmark Hotel.
To thank the 200 employees, we organised a dinner dance in the hotel’s stunning ballroom. On reception, the theme was kept secret from our guests until dinner was served. After being delighted by a pianist and caricaturist, they were absolutely wowed by the well dressed room and wintery décor.
The well-lit and carefully decorated room glistened with snow dusted birch trees, a sleigh filled with gifts, a white LED dancefloor and stage, complete with glitter DJ booth and a white pinch pleat backdrop. We welcomed a Father Christmas statue and Christmas tunes were played throughout the evening, only for guests to receive gifts from both the CEO and the man in red at their tables.
Capturing the glitz and glamour of the occasion was easy with a themed photobooth, complete with snowy backdrop and festive props.
The evening ended on a real high, with everyone proud of the year’s achievements, and eager to return after the Christmas break.
